As the Founder of Lady of Learning, I’ve spent the last 8 years nurturing students from Grades 1-12 with a personal touch that sets us apart. My mission is to create a warm, welcoming space where each child feels valued and understood. Here, tutoring isn’t just about attending sessions and feeling anxious about them; it’s about fostering a personal and supportive relationship with a tutor.
This approach helps us identify where you need assistance and improvement, making learning enjoyable. Students leave feeling empowered as they gain understanding and see their grades improve, which makes them excited to return. Based mainly in Oakville and the Halton region, our team of specialized tutors, including myself, offers expertise in subjects such as Math, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, English, and much more!
I am a graduate from Western University, holding an undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences with an Honours Specialization in Biochemistry. I have worked with students from all levels Grades 1-12 (elementary to university) for over 5 years and I specialize in teaching STEM related courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math).
I myself have benefited greatly from mentors I have met throughout my academic career, helping me develop a foundation of habits that helped me pass with Honours throughout all of my post-secondary studies. My goal is to create a welcoming and collaborative space for our students, where together, we will learn and practice how to navigate through the challenges and anxieties that we may face at school. I have a strong belief in all of my students' potential for success, and through our sessions at Lady of Learning, I hope to empower our students to have the same level of confidence within themselves as well.
Hi! I’m a Life Sciences student at McMaster University with a strong passion for science and math. I tutor students from grades 1 to 12 in subjects like Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. My love for teaching comes from my own experience—during my transition to high school, I needed extra help to catch up and it made all the difference. That experience ignited a passion for tutoring, and now I find it incredibly rewarding to help others succeed. Sharing my knowledge and helping students understand complex concepts in a clear and approachable way is something I genuinely enjoy. Let’s work together to reach your goals!
Hi! I'm Viren and I'm a second-year Nanotechnology Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. Over the past few years, I have worked with students at different levels, from elementary school to Grade 12 high school, focusing on subjects such as Math, Physics, and Chemistry. Through this experience, I have developed a flexible teaching style that allows me to adapt to each student’s needs and learning pace.
Along the way, I’ve been lucky to have mentors who not only shared their knowledge but also taught me how to approach challenges with persistence and confidence. Their guidance helped me discover strategies for learning that went beyond memorization, showing me the value of curiosity and problem-solving. Inspired by their impact, I want to pass on that same support to my students. I believe every student has the potential to excel, and I hope to empower my students with both knowledge and confidence as they navigate their academic challenges.
Hey everyone! My name is Tanusha and I’m an Electrical and Integrated Biomedical Engineering student at McMaster with a big passion for STEM and coding. I tutor students from
grades 1–12 in Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and the basics of Python.
Back in school, I had tutors who helped me whenever I fell behind—and that support made all the difference. With class sizes growing and pressure to get top grades higher than ever, I know how overwhelming it can feel. That’s why I love tutoring: helping students break down tough concepts, build confidence, and reach their goals.
Let’s work together to make learning easier and more fun!
Hello! I’m Alyshba, a first-year Public Health student at Toronto Metropolitan University with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I tutor elementary English and Math, as well as French, Biology, and Chemistry up to Grade 10.
I know that learning isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I adapt my approach to fit each student’s unique needs. My goal is to make lessons engaging, relatable, and easy to understand—because learning should feel rewarding, not frustrating. Whether you need help with homework, test prep, or just building confidence in a subject, I’m here to support you. I know what it’s like to struggle, and I want to help you get back on track and feel good about your progress!
Hi, my name is Ramzi. I'm a graduate from the University of Toronto with a bachelor degree, specializing in all Mathematics and Computer Science from grades 9-12. My journey in teaching began as early as in elementary school. I always loved helping people. Especially in Math and Science classes as I understood concepts fairly quickly. Helping others understand something I just learned helped me understand a lot about how others think and approach problems. A very important quality I learned is to have a lot of patience. Different people think in different ways and having patience is crucial to avoid misunderstandings and frustration.
It wasn't only in academics either as I loved playing tennis and volleyball and getting others into the sports. For me Math continued being my passion the way through my degree and career. I started private tutoring at Grade 12 for Math and Computer Science. Then through my upper years in uni, I also taught 1st, 2nd and third year Computer Science courses giving me experience with many different people. I have so much passion for Math and Computer Science and I love sharing this passion with others guiding them through their thought process.
